The sleep surface is made from organic cotton, grown without GMOs or pesticides. The waterproof layer itself is not organic, as there is currently no material that is both fully organic and reliably waterproof. For this reason, we use a thin polyurethane barrier selected for being inert, breathable, PVC- and VOC-free, and designed not to off-gas or leach chemicals. This allows us to provide dependable waterproof protection while maintaining a clean, comfortable sleep environment.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat. Avoid bleach and harsh detergents to maintain performance.
